The Situation

Candidates are tough to find and employers are not keen to see their jobs on job boards.

 

The Action

A member working a niche in specialized marketing just started to post their jobs to both Matchmaker and the NPA Job Board. They told their clients in advance that via their network membership, some jobs may be seen on sites like LinkedIn but they will continue to screen and control all applicants. The clients for the most part were OK with that.

The Results

On a recent job posted to the NPA Job Board, there were 24 responses from unregistered candidates; 6 of those were on-target and 4 were interviewed by the client. One candidate was hired. This candidate would never have been considered or found using traditional sourcing methods. The client is pleased with our ability to deliver a great fit candidate that accepted the offer and is productively contributing. A win for us, for the client, for the employer and for NPAworldwide.
