NPAworldwide is proud to announce that Andrew Sullivan of Sullivan Consulting (sullivanconsulting.com.au) has received the NPAworldwide Community Service Award. This award is presented in recognition of outstanding community service by an individual member of NPAworldwide. In addition to this honor, NPAworldwide has made a contribution of US$1,000 to the Vinnies CEO Sleepout (www.ceosleepout.org.au), which is a fundraiser to benefit the St. Vincent De Paul Society in Australia.

James Lyons, chairman of the NPAworldwide Board of Directors, said “It was a pleasure to recognize Andrew’s many charitable endeavors in Southern Australia. Well done!”

Andrew Sullivan has been a long-time supporter of the St. Vincent De Paul Society and their efforts to end homelessness in Australia. His company, Sullivan Consulting, has raised more than AUD $60,000 to support the society over the past five years through initiatives like Fred’s Van, a mobile relief service from St. Vincent de Paul that assists homeless clientele in Adelaide. The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is just one more way that Andrew and his team are making a difference for those who need it most. We congratulate Andrew on this well-deserved honor and thank him for his dedication to serving others.

“I am truly humbled and honoured to receive this award, commented Mr. Sullivan. “Community service is a key part of my and Sullivan Consulting’s ethos. Our focus on contributing, partnering and fundraising for community organisations has been a critical element of our business for the past six years. I would like to congratulate the other finalists and thank NPAworldwide for this incredible recognition.”

The Community Service Award was established in late 2019 to recognize members who are contributing to their local communities, volunteering, doing charitable activities, or impacting people in ways beyond their work in the network. Nominations are sought from the NPAworldwide membership based on the following criteria: Contribution to the audience or community; Impact on people / results for the community; Legacy or enduring difference made; Time invested / significance of sacrifice. The Community Service Award recipient is chosen by a selection committee, with the award presented during an NPAworldwide conference.
