I'm planning to go to the Global Conference in Atlanta. I thought it was in May, but then I saw something about it being in March. Which dates are correct?

Great question! The Global Conference is taking place in Atlanta, May 4-6. Early registration is open now. The Global Conference is for owners, managers, and recruiters of all experience levels. It consists of a multi-day format with practice group meetings, peer-to-peer learning, outside speakers/trainers, plenty of networking and lots of fun.
The meeting in March is our Annual Meeting. You may hear other members refer to this as the Owners Meeting, the Business Session, the AGM, or something similar. The Annual Meeting is happening virtually on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 7PM US ET. This meeting is for owners. This is where and how owners participate in the governance of our member-owned network. Owners will conduct the official business of NPAworldwide, such as election of officers, acceptance of the auditor's report, vote on proposed changes to the Bylaws, confirm the actions of the Board of Directors and more. Owners who are not available to attend this event in person are able to designate their proxy to our Secretary/Treasurer (currently Pam Robison) so that their vote may be cast in their absence.
For a number of years, the Annual Meeting was held at the beginning of the Global Conference. During the pandemic, we moved it by necessity to a virtual event. This meant more owners than ever could participate in the live setting, so we have continued to offer it as a separate, standalone event. The Annual Meeting and the Global Conference are two separate events, with different audiences and purposes.
