Transparency and Value Can Strengthen Your Collaborations
I hear members say all the time that they need a good trading partner with good candidates or one with good jobs. Fair request I guess, but my question back is are you a good partner in return? Are you bringing value and transparency to the records you post? Do you share detailed, useful information about the candidates you are posting, more than just their contact information and salary details?
Make sure your candidates' skills, achievements, and motivations to change go beyond the basic information your partners can find on their own. Similarly, for job postings, include insights, client relationships, urgency, or unique motivators that can give partners details beyond the job description. Include this in the Private Notes to Members field.
Building trust and collaboration requires effort from both sides so, make sure you to treat your partner like your best client—because they are.
