I like the movie Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze. OK, I admit I watched because I had a crush on Sam Elliot. There is a part in the movie where he tells the staff to be nice, even if someone gets in your face, be nice, if you need to walk them out be nice, remember it is a job nothing personal.. here is the clip for those who have not seen it
That advice applies just as well to recruiting, especially within NPAworldwide. I think sometimes we get busy or frustrated and forget to be nice to our NPA partners. We have over one thousand personalities in NPA, each bringing different experiences, styles, and perspectives to the table, we get that. But no matter what—we can always be nice.
Respect, patience, and professionalism go a long way toward building lasting partnerships in NPAworldwide. We’re all here for the same reason: to grow our businesses, support our clients and make more money. Let’s never forget that it’s a team effort.
So next time things get a little tense, remember to take a breath... and be nice.
