If you attended our virtual Annual Owner’s Meeting on 6 March or PowerUp Americas (formerly Global Conference) in Philadelphia, you’ve heard Pam or me speak about the new Strategic Plan that was developed over Q424 – Q125. The plan was developed by the Board of Directors and will be implemented primarily by the staff team with ongoing guidance from the Board.
The new NPAworldwide Mission Statement, ‘To connect premier independent recruiting firms for success locally and worldwide’ and the new Vision Statement, ‘To be the world’s leading recruitment community’ were the driving forces that helped shape the strategic vision for the next few years.
While the phrase “split placements” is not directly included in our updated mission statement, its spirit is absolutely embedded in the language. The core of our network has always been about connection and collaboration. When we say “connect,” we mean the relationships that drive business—referrals, shared opportunities, and yes, split placements.
Split business is a byproduct of meaningful connection, trust, and mutual success—exactly what this mission is all about. We’ve intentionally crafted the statement to speak both to the heart of what we do today and to the broader opportunities ahead. It reflects the full range of success our members can achieve together, locally and globally.
The goals that we will remain focused on also speak to the heart of what our network is about:
- Increasing split placements
- Increasing and improving member engagement
- Growing membership
- Growing and diversifying revenue streams
- Expanding collaboration opportunities with external partners
- Ensuring operational efficiency, financial stability, and organizational resilience
Ensuring success in each of these areas will further strengthen our network, and through association, our individual member firms. As we close in on 70 years as an organization, the strategic vision that has been set in motion should help to carry us forward for many years into the future.
