As Chair of the 2025 NPAworldwide Nominating Committee, I am glad to report how fortunate we are to have committee members with a wealth of experience and deep knowledge of our member-owned organization. This knowledge and experience allows us to understand and welcome the evolving nature of new processes while staying grounded in the best practices from the past. At the heart of our work are the bylaws and procedural requirements, which remain front and center in every decision we make.
The NPAworldwide staff plays an essential role in supporting our efforts by building processes and handling the administrative aspects of the nominating process. Their work behind the scenes ensures that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. However, it’s important to note that the responsibility for selecting nominees and the voting decisions rests solely with the committee and the member owners. This distinction ensures that the process remains member-driven.
