NPAworldwide has always been based on collaboration and volunteerism. There is no better example of this than the Community Service Award.

The brainchild of Chair-Elect Jim Lyons, this award is now in its third year. Previous winners include Jon Davis of Perfect Fit in Berlin, Connecticut (USA) and Simone Allan of Mondo Search in Sydney Australia. Winners receive a plaque and $1000 towards their project/ charity.

The selection committee was comprised of Jim Lyons (chair elect), Jon Davis (inaugural winner) and Scott King ( former Board Director for AU/NZ). The calibre of entries this year was particularly high. I am proud to announce the committee has awarded this year’s Community Service Award to:

Jennifer Charron of Logic Executive Search and Workplace Solutions, Inc in Windsor Canada NPA# 7413.

Jennifer’s association with NPA began in 2015 as an employee of a former NPA member. In 2020, she joined NPA as an Owner/Member. She is a proud Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Windsor. Jennifer is currently the Co-Chair of Art in the Park and has volunteered her time with various initiatives including the Salvation Army Kettle Bell Campaign and Paint Night for Polio.

Jennifer volunteers her time with the University of Windsor EPICentre as a Career Advisor providing mentorship to new female founders and entrepreneurs. Jennifer has sponsored a "She Inspires Award" for the EPICentre Venture Women Program which is awarded to a business that has made an impact, inspires future founders, and provides support to women changemakers looking to reimagine the future. She is also the Past President of JNF Windsor and volunteers her time to raise money and awareness for JNF projects which include building social service infrastructure to benefit vulnerable populations such as youth-at-risk, victims of domestic abuse, children with special needs, veterans, and various environmental projects.
