At its core, NPAworldwide exists because of you. It was founded by recruiters who believed in something different—a model where we, the members, own the organization. That belief remains the backbone of our network today.

As owners/members, we’re not just customers of a service. We are the drivers, decision-makers, and beneficiaries of everything this cooperative does. The value of NPAworldwide grows when we engage, collaborate, and invest—with our time and our trust in one another to partner on work and share split placement revenue.

Our bylaws and membership agreements aren’t just legal paperwork. They’re the framework that gives us the authority—and the responsibility—to shape this organization’s future. As members, we elect board directors, vote on bylaw changes, and even decide on big picture moves like mergers or partnerships. That level of control is rare, and it’s powerful.

But with that power comes a shared responsibility to help this network thrive.

We all have a role to play:

  • Use the network. That may seem obvious, but it’s worth saying: NPAworldwide only works if we work it. Our commitment to engage with one another is what keeps this community strong.
  • Stay informed. Whether you read the weekly emails, attend webinars, or reach out to staff or fellow members, staying in the know helps you get more from your membership and makes you a better owner.
  • Vote wisely. The members you elect to the Board represent your interests. Choose leaders who are thoughtful, collaborative, and committed to the long-term health of our network.
  • Invest in our future. Your membership dues and retained earnings fund the tools and resources we all use. That financial commitment helps us innovate, grow, and respond to change.
  • Speak up. If the network is meeting your expectations, let us know. If it’s not, tell us that, too. Constructive feedback is the only way we can adapt and improve.

Some of us build structured partnerships with other members. Others rely on more informal arrangements built on trust. Either way, our strength lies in collaboration. By working together—whether through a handshake deal or a formal contract—we save time, reduce costs, and deliver better results for our clients.

We are more than just a group of independent firms. We are a cooperative of committed professionals who’ve chosen to build something bigger—together.

Thank you for everything you do to make this network thrive.
