As NPAworldwide continues to strengthen the tools and resources available to our members, it is important that everyone participating in network activities is equally prepared, informed, and accountable.
In practice, many firms have only established accounts for recruiters actively participating in split placements. This creates situations where recruiters participate in conferences, virtual meetings, practice groups, and other network activities without having access to NPA systems or completing the required Ethics Quiz.
To ensure that every participant understands the standards that make NPAworldwide successful, the Board has outlined and updated the Operations Manual clarifying our participation requirements.
Effective immediately, every recruiter participating in any NPAworldwide activity must have an active account in the NPA member database. This includes participation in:
- Conferences and regional meetings
- Virtual meetings and webinars
- Practice Groups and Roundtables
- Networking events
- Split placements
- Any other NPAworldwide-sponsored activities
In addition, every participating recruiter must:
- Have their own unique NPA account and login credentials.
- Have a unique, non-generic business email address.
- Complete and pass the required Ethics Quiz before participating in network activities.
- Demonstrate an understanding of NPAworldwide's rules, policies, and Code of Ethics.
- Login to NPA Central (website) or NPAconnect (mobile app) at least once every 180 days to maintain access.
Maintaining active accounts for everyone participating in the network benefits both individual recruiters and the membership. It ensures every participant has access to the latest tools, resources, communications, and mobile app functionality while confirming that all members engaging with one another understand the ethical standards and operating procedures that have built trust throughout our global community.
Member Owners need to review their team's participation and ensure that every recruiter engaging in any NPAworldwide activity has an active account, has successfully completed the Ethics Quiz, and is fully vetted before representing your firm within the network.
