The Board has been busy this week. It was not a fun assignment, but it was necessary and what you expect of your NPAworldwide network and Board of Directors. Our Board took a vote to expel a member, Matcha Talent, for posting member positions that were clearly listed as DO NOT ADVERTISE.

It is always sad to lose productive members and Matcha Talent was having success with several partners. The network puts trust and quality ahead of results and income. This was not a first-time occurrence. The member made an error in the very early days of membership; speed was the driving force. The then-new member was not fully training staff before setting them to work on NPAworldwide member positions. So, we stopped, did some training, and put an extended probationary period on this member. Unfortunately, months later we are back at the very same spot. A well-intentioned member that lacked the control and sensibilities to do QC on the work of his staff or to fully train those working within the network is now a former member.

We take this seriously. It is your lifeblood and good clients do not grow on trees. So please work carefully and pay attention to the Bylaws and Operations Manual of NPAworldwide. Train and monitor your staff before taking action. If you are a new member, it is not OK to fail our quiz 5, 6 or 7 times. Owners, the same is true for your new recruiters. It is an “open book” quiz on the rules you must adhere to in order to be a trusted member of the network.

Quality matters. Proper training will allow quality to happen.

Sorry for the lecture…so many do this so well!
