Jenny Robertson (NPA #2109) Founder, CEO of JellyBean Green, Inc in Fairfax, VA, made the firm’s first split placement with Ed Wallach (NPA #1018) of Ed Wallach Search Group LLC in Bethesda, MD, USA.
Ed placed Jenny's candidate, an Engineer, in the Technology industry in the USA.
Jenny explains how the deal came about: "I saw several jobs posted by Ed that had caught my interest in the past, but I had never actually worked on any of his roles.  We were both on a Technology Practice call back in June together.  After virtually "meeting" him on the calI, I contacted him about a role he had posted to see if his client was still seeking new candidates.  Ed was able to give me excellent information about his client and the roles that would be best to work on, not just the one I inquired about but a few others as well.  During my search for a role in VA I found a great candidate but she was moving to Denver.  She had the basic background experience Ed looked for in candidates so I looked to see  if he had any clients in the Denver area and he did,  just not an active posting for her skill set.  I decided to reach out to Ed anyway and asked him if any of his clients in Denver might be interested in her.  As it turned out his client did have interest in speaking with her.  My candidate ultimately accepted an offer from Ed's awesome client and started after she relocated to Denver."
Jenny continues to work with Ed and said she enjoys finding candidates they can both get excited about. Jenny likes Ed's client management style and finds him easy for her to work with.
"I'm thankful to have the opportunity to work with such a broad range of members and look forward to a long future with NPA," Jenny said.
Congrats, Jenny and Ed! This is a great example of why it's important to attend practice group calls and build relationships with your fellow members!
