Matt Huton (NPA #7025) has made his first split placement since joining the staff of Kitchener Executive Consultants in Kitchener, ONT, USA.
Matt placed a Technical Sales Rep in the Construction Industry, provided by Rene Abgrall (NPA #7399) of Rene Abgrall Recruiting in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.
Matt explains how the deal came about: "I was referred to Rene by Ian Fairfax (my colleague here at Kitchener Executive Consultants), who suggested Rene as an exporting recruiter. Rene did a good job identifying talent, providing several quality candidates. The process went longer than anticipated and there was some attrition. We were able to introduce someone who proved to be an ideal candidate. It was a pleasure working with Rene, and a positive experience for me that has reinforced the importance of building NPA partnerships."
Rene added: "Matt reached out to me to see if I had any candidates for his role. I shared a few resumés with Matt, and, as the interview process took a little bit longer than expected, one of my candidates that was short listed accepted another career opportunity. So then I shared another candidate to Matt, as he was referred to me by the first candidate several months before this for yet another role I was working on. And the rest is history!"
