Marilyn explained how the deal came about: "John Gilbert with Options Consulting Group in South Melbourne, Australia contacted me last December about an Executive Search for a Sr. Vice President in Dallas TX. We set up a Zoom meeting and John explained the search and asked me all about myself, my firm and past clients and how I would conduct this Executive Search. He contacted me back to begin the search. I started the search right away and I learned more about the client, opportunity and started making a list of potential ideas for the search. John is great to work with as a person and search executive. We conducted a number of virtual interviews together after my initial screening and presentation of a candidate and resume. John would conduct his virtual interview and I would listen in. We would talk about the search after these virtual interviews and discuss other ideas for the search. John communicated with his client and I was the US person to contact and provide all information and communications to the candidates interviewed here in the US. We had a very successful search, one I truly enjoyed working on."
