Jeannine explains how the deal came about: "I successfully found a Nurse Practitioner who agreed to accept the position that I had in a primary care clinic here in Alaska... She backed out on accepting the position, so I wanted to find another candidate ASAP. I looked on NPA's website to see who works placing Nurse Practitioners and I found Patrick and a couple of others that work in that area. I sent out emails requesting help to secure a candidate that seriously would consider Alaska. Patrick presented a candidate that wanted to relocate to Alaska for a long time. She interviewed and accepted the position as soon as the offer was made. She will be in place on the first of November. Her husband accepted a Police officer position with the local police department. This opportunity made a dream come true for this couple out of Utah; they had dreamed of living in Alaska for a long time."
