Dan Sullivan (NPA #1415) of J. Patrick & Associates, Inc. in Kingston, NY, USA, and Christine Kines (NPA #2161) of Vector Recruiting in Apex, NC, USA, have both made their firms' first NPA split placement! Dan placed Christine's candidate, a QA Engineer in the Software Industry in the US.
Christine joined NPAworldwide in March of this year and immediately began attending practice group calls, which is where the connection with Dan began. Christine explains how their deal came about:

"Dan read the technology call notes (thanks Liz Carey for the great notes!!), saw my name and contacted me. One of Dan’s Data Security Software clients was building their Quality Assurance team and Dan asked me if I would like to partner with him to fill the opening."

It was a true partnership from the start with Christine quickly sourcing several strong candidates and Dan managing the client process, eventually handing the search fully to Christine, "including working directly with a very busy and demanding hiring manager (I think we all know the type!)" she said.

The partnership produced results with one of Christine’s QA candidates being hired within a few weeks!

"It was a collaborative effort from their first phone call," Christine said. Dan and Christine speak several times a week as they continue to work together. Through the process they have developed a successful business partnership as well as becoming good friends.

"Thanks NPAworldwide for all the opportunities you provide for members to connect. We are both thrilled to be part of the NPAworldwide network!" Christine said.

Great job to both of you on your first NPA split! Christine and Dan followed the keys to success - visibility (attending practice group calls), reaching out to partners directly and building relationships. If you aren't doing those things, you are missing out on potential splits!
