Congratulations to Jillian Asquith of Asquith Workforce (#8575) on making her first split placement with Yvonne Kelly of Driftwood Group (#8387). Jillian placed Yvonne's candidate, a graduate engineer, with a rail client in Australia.

Yvonne shared the details of the placement, "Jillian was working on a graduate engineering position with one of her rail clients. They were looking to hire someone from a diverse background. Jillian often works with sourcing Indigenous candidates. It was tricky to find a suitable candidate from this cohort so she reached out to us at Driftwood Group. We were able to provide a candidate from a refugee background. The successful candidate is originally from Afghanistan and had recently moved to Sydney, Australia after completing her engineering degree. She had been unemployed for two years. The client was delighted to find such a strong, driven and enthusiastic candidate. For the candidate, it has changed her life and that of her family both here and overseas. She now has a meaningful job with an excellent starting salary in an industry she always dreamed of working in. Jillian's client has a loyal and quality candidate. A great example of putting more diverse candidates on shortlists!"
