Rick Boysal (NPA #6133) of ManuSearch in Roseville, CA, USA, has made the firm’s first NPA split placement. Daniel provided a Production Manager in the Aerospace Industry to Lisa Sackett (NPA #3876) of Professional Recruiting Solutions in Mentor, OH, USA.
Lisa explains how the deal came about: "Rick reached out to me in March of this year when he saw a job I had posted that was in CA where he lives. He told me a bit about himself and his experience recruiting in similar industries as I work. We hit is off pretty quickly. We talked through what my client was looking for and I warned him that my client is picky and their searches are not easy ones but he was not scared off and didn’t give up on me. We have worked together regularly since then and got close on a couple of other splits but for one reason or another, they didn’t happen. Rick still did not give up. He was stead fast in his commitment to filling some of these jobs that are in his backyard. We have split number two in the works and feel there will be a lot more. I have learned more about Rick on a personal level since March and found out that he used to be a NASCAR driver. I thought that was pretty interesting. From Race car Driver to recruiter!! NPA is a great was to make friends and business partners all over the country. I hope Rick and I meet at an NPA event soon."
Rick added: "I joined NPA last February and have had the pleasure of working with a few partners. Lisa Sackett has stood out to me as someone who extremely knowledgeable with her clients needs as well is a pleasure to work with. I only hope to have relations as that result in successes. I have taken several months to find the best working partners and have made great relations. I believe this network is an outstanding group of talented recruiters both exporting and importing. To date, I am working the candidate side mostly. I entered the network as my primary client was affected by the chips bill and the semiconductor industry. This sounds like the start to a great trading partnership! It takes some time to find the right partners, but once you do, build those relationships by having clear & constant communication, transparency and treat them as if they were your best client... as Rick and Lisa did.
