Greg Corson (NPA #1426) of Relational IT, Inc. in Exeter, NH, USA, has made the firm’s first NPA split placement with Hugh Morris (NPA #7408) of Arisoft Group in Toronto, ON, Canada. Greg placed Hugh's candidate, a Sr Solutions Architect in the IT Industry in the US.
Hugh explains how the deal came about: "I met Greg on the technology call in early April.  It was his first call with the technology group since joining NPA in March. I reached out to Greg and he mentioned he had three roles for his client, the main role being a Senior Solutions Architect.  Arisoft’s lead technical recruiter Sarita Nair, conducted an exhaustive search and found a candidate with 18 years of experience as a Solutions Architect and 12 certifications. Greg's client was open to remote workers from Canada and already had a Canadian on their payroll remote. The candidate started on July 2 and has made major contributions to improving the company's software applications and security protocols."

Hugh added, "Arisoft encourages all US employers with remote positions to consider Canadians due to the strength of the Canadian talent pool and the remarkable exchange-rate which has risen to 1.30,  giving employers almost at 33% advantage when hiring Canadians."

Greg added: "Pleased to close my first NPA placement with Hugh Morris and Sarita Nair of Arisoft’s Canadian office. I had previously introduced our New Hampshire software client to the benefits of hiring Canadian IT professionals so having expert recruiters in Canada helped a lot. The Arisoft team worked hard through several candidates across a number of openings before our collaboration paid off. Thank you NPA for the Technology Group call that I met Hugh on and for the platform that created a sizable fee and a happy client. I look forward to working with Hugh and Arisoft again soon!"
