Guessing we all know that the subject line is true. So, what can we do? Really it is not as much due to a lack of talent, but many candidates are prioritizing a good workplace along with a good work/life balance, most love the flex/remote working options as well.

The reason for stating all this is that members are not thinking about “found money” as Jim Lyons puts it. Candidate posting is down significantly and there are more jobs than ever. We have the QuickSearch option in Matchmaker which matches jobs to candidates and candidates to jobs, so records are getting more exposure. The shelf life of a good candidate is very short, so why not share. Importers, you are recruiting for your jobs; what are you doing with those good candidates that came in 2nd or 3rd?

If all members posted 1 candidate a week, we could have a good database in no time.
