What is your #1 tip for how to work NPAworldwide?
Do you have a favorite split story to share?
Hands down is when Nancy Barcheski Everin literally took over my clients when I entered the hospital for major back surgery thinking I would come home in 4 – 5 days. Reality was that I was in the hospital almost two weeks, then a rehab center for almost a month THEN started chemo which resulted in more hospital stays. Nancy made sure my clients had candidates to interview and kept me informed. I did make splits with a few other NPAers but the majority were what Nancy managed. She came through as the ultimate NPA partner and I will be forever grateful. She was the #1 NPA Recruiter at the 2011 Annual Conference, I was number six!
How did you get into recruiting?
I went to no less than four employment agencies when I first moved to Allentown, PA and one hired me. I thought I would learn about jobs and employers and leave for a role that fit me but ended up starting my own firm.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
To save my youngest sister who has Stage Four metastatic breast cancer. It is awful to see a vibrant person deteriorate so quickly.
What was your favorite NPAworldwide conference?
I don’t know if I really have a favorite…Sydney 2013 and Amsterdam 2014 were special because they were global. San Diego 2011 because I was in the Top Ten Recruiters!
What is your favorite hobby?
Bicycling….rail trails where you don’t have to deal with cars. Exercise AND enjoying nature!
