NPAworldwide is saddened to inform the membership that longtime former member, Bob Thompson, recently passed away.
Bob owned the J. Robert Thompson Companies in Houston, Texas, which he founded in 1968 and sold in 1995. He served in numerous capacities on the board of directors, including as president (now called chairman). Bob received the Chairman's Award in 1999 and was named an Honorary Member in 1998 for his many years of dedication and service to NPAworldwide. Bob was known in the network as being exceptionally honest, devoted to his family and his faith, and generous with his time. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Jane. He will be dearly missed by his family friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob's wife, Jane, their children Jay and Jill, and the rest of their family during this difficult time.
