For members who post jobs to our job board, we advertise those roles on LinkedIn and other aggregator sites. We do not have control over how those sites operate, which can sometimes lead to confusion.

For example, the jobs that we advertise on your behalf on LinkedIn display with an Apply button. You may notice on LinkedIn that you appear to have received applications to the job, but have not actually received any actual candidate information. When a candidate clicks the Apply button, they are brought over to our job board where they *actually* apply. Many candidates abandon the job posting on our site without ever completing the actual application. LinkedIn is using the word "apply" to direct the candidate, but it is really only measuring a "click" for the recruiter. Anytime someone clicks that button, LinkedIn counts it as an application regardless of whether the candidate actually completed the activity. Members should always refer to their email to watch for notification messages about candidate applications from the Job Board.
