There have been some questions about advertising on the NPA Job Board vs. the NPA Marketplace. As a reminder, the NPA Marketplace is NPA's internal, members-only database. If you post your job here, it shows you would like partner help and are open to doing a split (which is typically 47.5% to each partner, and 5% brokerage to NPA).  The NPA Job Board is a public site that candidates can come to and apply to the job. If you place one of these candidates in your advertised job, it is 88% to you and 12% brokerage to NPA. If you don't care where your candidates come from, you can post to both the NPA Marketplace and Job Board.

Some important things to note:

  • When you post a job to "Job Board Only" or "Marketplace and Job Board", that means it is being posted on our public job board (https://jobs.npaworldwide.com/). Anything that is posted to the NPA Job Board is public and cross-posted to other third-party job boards. NPAworldwide utilizes a third party company called Recruitics to advertise Job Board jobs on Linkedin, Indeed, Reach and Nuevoo. In addition, since our job board is public, it is scraped by other boards, aggregators, and Google so you may see Job Board jobs posted elsewhere.
        
  • The “Permission to Advertise” field only has to do with another NPA member advertising your position on their own website and/or other job boards. If you select yes, it gives another NPA member permission to advertise your position. It has nothing to do with the Job Board, as all Job Board jobs are advertised. We are seeing jobs marked "no advertising" yet also being marked either "Job Board only" or "NPAmarketplace and NPAjobboard".  
        
  • We generally advise that if you have a confidential role or a role that the client doesn’t want out there, it should be posted to Marketplace only, not the Job Board, as the Job Board is public.
  • Jobs that you enter as "Job Board Only" are NOT visible to your partners via NPAmarketplace. If you ONLY want your job on the job board, that is the only place to find it.
