The Considerations module in NPAworldwide is a brand-new-to-us feature with a lot of potential to streamline split placement activity between partners. Here is an explanation of how it works:
"Considerations" are a method of directly submitting candidates or jobs to your trading partners, from within NPAmarketplace (instead of by email, for example, or hoping your partner finds your record in a search or alert). You are asking a partner to "consider" your candidate for their posted job, or a partner with a job can ask a partner for permission to consider that partner's candidate. Either of these actions send out a "consideration request" email asking for your response. When you get these emails, please be sure to accept or reject them. This creates a detailed workflow that can help you manage where particular candidates are at in the hiring process.
Currently about 1500 considerations have sent out to partners and only about 1/3 of them have had responses. Please log in to NPAmarketplace and click the Considerations module (just below the Candidate module in the navigation tree) to see the Considerations that have been requested of you, and respond to them accordingly. It is not good practice to ignore your trading partners.
Once you accept a consideration, you can click the name of the candidate and clearly see where they are in the hiring process:
