Matchmaker has a chat feature that allows members communicate quickly in real-time. It also includes a default status message of "I'm available."

Some members are beginning to change that status to a marketing-oriented message to help your partners understand your areas of expertise. Some examples include:
  • I am an exporter with available bandwidth to work open roles
  • Seeking a software engineer for my top client
  • I have expertise in all areas of accounting and finance with an emphasis on tax specialists

To change your message, click the blue chat bar in the lower right corner of your Matchmaker window. Then click the 3 dots to open your profile window. Update your status message as desired and click the X to close the window.
