Dear Nicky,

As a job recruiter in NPAworldwide, I’ve made the decision to stop posting my jobs on the shared platform. Instead, I focus on sharing them during Practice Group calls and directly with members I know and trust who work in my space.

The reason is simple: when I do post my jobs, I often receive a high volume of responses from candidate recruiters who haven't taken the time to understand the role. I find myself spending too much time explaining basic job details—things that could easily be researched with a quick search.

I know this may go against what NPA is all about and staff typically recommend, and I respect that. That said, I prefer to work with partners who come prepared and who demonstrate genuine interest and are willing to put in the work for a quality submittal.

Direct Sharing in Dorr

Dear Dorr,

We completely understand your frustrations—and trust me, we’re actively working behind the scenes to help job recruiters and candidate recruiters collaborate more effectively.

One of the biggest challenges we face is that members are often hesitant to let us know who the repeat offenders are. The truth is, we can’t address issues we don’t know about.

Please don’t hesitate to speak up. You have several people in your corner—your Area Leader, Board Director, and the engagement team—all committed to supporting you and improving the experience for everyone in the network. It's YOUR network, after all.

Nicky
