We are working on some updates to NPA Central that make it easier for members and volunteer leaders to communicate within our geographic areas. Some of the work is already completed, and the finishing touches are underway. Here is a quick summary of what is happening:
- Geographic areas in (primarily) EMEA, Asia, and Latin America have been redefined to align with the United Nations geoscheme. Our geographic areas historically have grown organically based on where our members and volunteer leaders were located, which resulted in a hodgepodge of geographic areas that didn't necessarily have much in common.
- Moving to this structure means we can add in Country Managers for local leadership instead of just an Area Leader who may be farther away. Our hope is to facilitate more member-to-member interaction in local markets as well as increase membership.
- We will also have the ability for remote recruiters to align with the geographic area that matches *their* location, instead of the firm's location.
- New employee records will capture this information at the time of creation
- Watch for instructions soon on how to update existing records
- We are also streamlining and enhancing some of our prospecting tools, which are housed in the same database. This will make it more efficient for Sarah and Kristen to track and engage with prospective members and also ensure that they are aligned with the correct geo areas when they convert to members.
