Rose placed Steve's candidate, a Plant Manager in the Chemical Industry in the US. This is Kaizen HR Solutions's second split, as Rose previously made a split with Patrick Long at the end of 2020 which was not published in the Vignette.
Steve explains how the deal came about: "Marcia gave me a heads up about the job Rose was recruiting for and sent me a link to her job on Matchmaker. I reached out to Rose, we discussed the job and her client and my niche being in her client's industry. I called a number of potential candidates that were local to her opportunity and presented one, who she placed. Rose knew her client well and handled everything. The candidate is someone I have known, placed, and then placed candidates with him for 30 + years. This reminded me to check on jobs posted in my niche. Kudos should go to Marcia for connecting us."
Rose added: "Shortly after Steve contacted me, he generated a list of potential candidates which he shared with me. After reviewing the list, I knew that his pipeline was solid and felt I could trust that he would work the role. The candidate that was placed was in our ATS. We had previously reached him but he didn’t respond. Given Steve’s relationship with the candidate, we were able to engage him and recruit him out of a company that he had recently joined. Most importantly, we delivered a solid candidate to my long-term exclusive client.
"Side bar… we have our 3rd NPA candidate starting 11/1 via another NPA partner," Rose added. "This NPA partner didn’t stop… he submitted 4-5 candidates at different times. We flew in the first candidate a week after he submitted the candidate; offer was extended, we counter offered, and offer was turned down for a different location. We flew in a 2nd candidate a week and a half after the first one; not quite the right fit for the team. A week later, we submitted a 3rd candidate that will relocate – offer accepted! It takes grit, trust, a solid partnership, and determination to get to the end zone in this crazy market!"
