The NPA job board is different from the NPAmarketplace, and is a public-facing website created and managed by NPAworldwide to advertise members’ jobs.  You can opt to include your jobs on the NPA Job Board by selecting either ‘Market Place and NPA Job Board’ OR ‘NPA Job Board Only’ under ‘Post Job To’ on the job entry form.

It's time for a couple of reminders about how the NPA Job Board works, especially for those who are new or infrequent users.

  • Jobs that you enter as "NPA Job Board only" are NOT visible to your partners via NPAmarketplace. This means it is only posted to our public job board for candidates to come apply to.
  • Second, we are seeing jobs marked "Permission to Advertise: No" yet also being marked either "NPA Job Board Only" or both "Marketplace AND NPA Job Board." Please be aware that ALL JOBS posted to the Job Board are advertised. We have a collection of aggregator partners that we work with to promote these jobs (paid advertising) and help drive applications. If you truly have a job that cannot be advertised, please do not Post it to the NPA Job Board, and instead just post to Marketplace.
  • You will receive applications via email, and they are also accessible on your Marketplace dashboard by clicking the ‘A’ (applications) column to the left of your job title.
  • It is free to post your job on the job board, but if you do place a candidate who applies to your job via the job board, you owe NPA 12% brokerage.

Also, please be reminded of the following posting requirements for using the NPAworldwide Job Board. Some of these are NPAworldwide policy while others are requirements from the various aggregators we use. Jobs that do not follow these requirements will be excluded from all advertising efforts.

  • No internal job ID#s within the job title field
  • No occupation categories or industries within the job title field
  • Must have a location - city/state/country for US jobs or city/country for non-US jobs
  • Salary - many US states are beginning to require inclusion of a salary or salary range in the job posting. If you do NOT include a salary, aggregators will often add an estimated salary range. This may be much higher than your client's actual salary range, so please be aware of this if you choose to leave the salary out of your posting.
  • Do not include your name or your member's firm name, website and/or recruiter contact info in the description
  • Do not include the client's name, website or other contact details in the description
