What if I told you that I could get you one warm call with a potential client a week? A client that loves recruiters, a client that is happy to pay your fees; a client who will appreciate you working with them?

Sounds good? Well that is one of the key benefits of our network. Everyone accepted wants to split with you. They hopefully love recruiters (given that’s what they are), they are happy to pay your fees as you are helping them make a placement that would otherwise not have happened and they appreciate you as you have either made their client / candidate happy.

So check out Matchmaker (now with chat function) and find a recruiter you may not already know. Reach out and organise a Zoom or call. Find out what they do and what type of candidates or job orders they are looking for.

I have a contact I met at a conference and we connected in LinkedIn and stayed in touch. She sent me her CV this week. Turns out she does UX, whatever that is. An NPA partner mentioned UX once so I called him earlier this week and she has already been submitted to his client. No idea if it will be a placement but as Michael Jordan would say, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.“

So while things are a bit quieter, reach out to your NPA partners and get to know them. What they do, how they do it, are there opportunities to split? If nothing else they will tell other trading partners about you and their positive “user experience.”  Ah, that’s what UX stands for.
