Please do not use non-numeric “special” characters in your job titles – they cause 404 Page Not Found errors on search engines as they break the URL of the job posting. If you are using the Job Board, this means your record won’t be visible on the board, Google, or any of the aggregator sites that we use.

The following special characters can NOT be used in job titles:

  • ~ . ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) ‘ “ , [ ] \ / { }
  • Accent marks or other foreign language characters such as an umlaut – ö

The following special characters CAN be used in these specific instances:

  • C+
  • C++
  • C#
  • .Net or .NET

If you need to separate words, please use the hyphen with a space on each side, like this: Development Engineer – Flexible Film
