The essence of NPAworldwide was in full bloom at our Global Conference last week in Atlanta, Georgia. Close to 150 individuals attended and celebrated the achievements of 2022, along with the promise for the future. In doing so, new friendships were made and old friendships were renewed. It was great to see close to 45 first time attendees.
I had the honor in presenting NPA's highest honor, The Chairman's Award, to my dear friend Bill Benson of WilliamCharles Executive Search. Bill's iconic service to NPA has included numerous committee and Board leaderships roles, including a tenure as Board Chair and CEO of NPAworldwide.
Members and staff had numerous opportunities to socialize and network, while also being introduced to some great content, industry speakers and operational best practices. I want to thank our President Dave Nerz and his great team for the wonderful job they did in managing this great meeting. A task I might add that started over a year ago. Next year the Global Conference will be in Salt Lake City, Utah from May 2-4. Mark your calendars.
As I have said in the past, every time NPA members get together we carry on a tradition and practice that goes back almost 70 years. That is pretty special, and all of you are pretty special. It is my honor to serve as your Chair.
