For as long as I can remember, walking the Camino de Santiago has been a dream of mine. Last month, I finally turned that dream into reality by embarking on a month-long pilgrimage from St Jean Pied de Port (France) to Santiago de Compostela (800km/500 miles). The journey was a transformative experience that taught me invaluable lessons about discipline, relationships, independence, and teamwork—lessons that I now carry into my professional life as a recruiter.
The Camino is not just a physical challenge; it’s a testament to discipline. Every day brought new physical and mental hurdles, from steep climbs to long distances.
