My sweet father-in-law has been in and out of the hospital for the last three months. I can tell you for sure that not all facilities are equal, nor are all service providers. Along the way, I've given shoutouts to some caregivers and some not-so-pleasant corrective suggestions to others. At times our family has been very frustrated and at others, we've been exceedingly pleased. Being fully engaged with his service providers has proved invaluable to his quality of care and overall satisfaction.

I admit I have an ulterior motive for sharing my story. I want to remind you that our Member Satisfaction Survey is now open and there's no better time for you to share your voice regarding NPAworldwide! Earlier this week, you would have received an email from our survey partner, ClearlyRated, with a link to the survey (a reminder will be coming to those who have not responded).

I highly encourage all members to participate, as the feedback you provide is essential to help us improve the products, services, and communication that we offer. The survey will only take a few minutes of your time, the responses are anonymous, and I promise it will be worth it.

Our members are the heart of our organization, and feedback is essential to our success. In the past, we have used member surveys to guide our decisions on multi-year strategic planning and engagement. For example, as a result of your feedback, we created a Member Engagement Team that includes staff and Board members who meet regularly and who reach out with targeted intent to our members (old and new). We're seeing many members who are more engaged than ever, and new members are making their first placements faster than ever before!

We are continually striving to improve the experience for our members, and surveys play a vital role in helping us identify areas for improvement. We are grateful for the feedback we receive and continue to use it as a valuable resource in our efforts to better serve the needs of the NPA community.
