Margaret Delin (NPA #8408) has made her first split placement since joining the staff of Excelerate Resources in Warwick, U.K.
Margaret provided a Director of EHS and Sustainability in the Food & Beverage Industry, to Russ Hovendick (NPA #4039) of Client Staffing Solutions, Inc. in  Sioux Falls, SD, USA.

Margaret explains how the deal came about: "As part of Excelerate Resources, I have recently become involved as an Exporter for NPA and I was asked by David Kelham, our MD, to help him on some projects for Russ Hovendick.  It was clear from the beginning that Russ was a consummate professional with great understanding of his clients and their individual candidate needs.  Russ is always clear about what he expects from you as a resourcer and is always very appreciative of the time you spend on his projects.  He gives regular updates and information on any changes in the projects, all of which I find very motivating.  And we got a placement and my first split!!!  It is a pleasure to work with Russ particularly as he makes time to talk and joke if I ring out of the blue for a ‘face to face’.  I am finding working on NPA roles very enjoyable mainly because Russ has made me and my colleagues in Excelerate very welcome."

Russ added: "Margaret has been an absolute delight to work with. Originally, David Kelham had reached out to me and then suggested that we get Margaret included on the search. She has been extremely thorough in making sure that she has a good understanding of the cultural, as well as the technical fit of the position. Quite frankly, she nailed it on this one and our client felt the same, regarding our candidate. It’s interesting to note that the candidate was sourced by an agency in England, sent to me in South Dakota, all while the candidate was living within an hour of my client. Small world! Through the outstanding efforts of Margaret, I look like a hero in the eyes of my client and was rewarded with another nice assignment to work on. My guess is that Margaret is already on the trail for the next perfect candidate!! Thank you Margaret! Cheers!!!"

Wow, what a great story - a UK-based recruiter finding the perfect candidate who was actually local to the South Dakota company! Nice work, Margaret and Russ!
