Christine Hoffman-Hicks (NPA #6022) of Staff Smart, Inc. in San Diego, CA, USA, has made her first NPA split placement. Christine provided a Sr. Dev Ops Engineer in the Defense Industry to Ed Wallach (NPA #1018) of Ed Wallach Search Group in Bethesda, MD, USA.
Christine explains how the deal came about: "I met Ed by way of the NPA Tech call where he was highlighted for his great achievements in the network. Because the market conditions have been bad this year, we as a company had to shift. So by combing the NPA job board, I came across Gaby Peda’s roles, reached out to her and we started recruiting. There are some similarities between her roles and Ed’s (top secret clearance, skills, etc) and the geography, so it made sense for me to seek out Ed to see if he too could benefit from these candidates. He was kind enough to give us the green light. All the credit is owed to Ed really as he’s the rock star and manages the client side."
