We're thrilled to share the exciting news about our brand-new Regional Leadership Awards! These awards are all about recognizing and celebrating the amazing leadership and collaboration happening right within our own regions—Asia, EMEA, Americas, and Australia/New Zealand. At NPAworldwide, we deeply value the members who go the extra mile, support their peers, generously share their knowledge, and embody the spirit of our cooperative network.
Why did we introduce these awards? It's simple: we want to highlight and encourage the very behaviors that make our community stronger. These awards help us spotlight those who welcome new members warmly, share expertise willingly, and contribute positively to our regional communities. By acknowledging these outstanding leaders, we aim to foster even stronger bonds within regions and across our global network.
Each region will nominate and vote for the members they feel have shown exceptional leadership. Winners will receive well-deserved recognition at their respective regional PowerUp conferences, and we'll proudly feature them in the Vignette newsletter and across NPAworldwide social media channels.
Celebrating Our Members: An Overview of NPAworldwide Service Awards
Beyond our new Regional Leadership Awards, we have several other special awards designed to recognize the hard work, dedication, and contributions of our members.
The Chair’s Award, created in 1996, is presented annually to a member whose contributions have left a lasting positive impact on our community.
Our Community Service Award honors members who significantly impact their local communities through volunteer work or charitable efforts.
We also have awards specifically celebrating our volunteers—the Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes those who have dedicated more than a year of exceptional service to NPAworldwide, while the New Volunteer of the Year Award highlights volunteers who have made significant contributions within their first year.
These awards are a testament to what we hold dear at NPAworldwide—collaboration, community involvement, and passionate volunteerism.
Stay tuned for upcoming nomination announcements and start thinking about who deserves recognition in your region today!
Please note: Current members of the Board of Directors are not eligible for any NPAworldwide Service Awards.
