I had the pleasure of attending the NPAworldwide Area Meetup in Louisville, KY, last week. I want to extend my gratitude to Area Leader Paige Semmel for her exceptional leadership and for organizing this important event. It was a great success, bringing together NPA members to foster meaningful conversations and share valuable insights.
The meetup provided a wonderful opportunity for all of us to exchange ideas, discuss best practices, and even share some light-hearted stories about challenging candidate experiences. The informal setting truly encouraged collaboration, allowing everyone to learn from each other’s experiences and strengthen our professional bonds.
One of the standout moments of the event was the presentation by Emery Long, who introduced us to innovative technology that is transforming our industry. Emery’s insights into these emerging tools sparked great discussions on how we can leverage these advancements to improve workflows and increase efficiency in our daily operations.
In addition to networking and learning, this gathering reminded us of the importance of coming together as a community. I’d encourage everyone to check the “Events” section of NPA Central for more opportunities to connect in person at future events.
Lastly, I’d like to express my appreciation for the global membership’s thoughtfulness and support, particularly for our North American members affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton. Although there was some property damage, we are relieved to hear that everyone came through without injury. The solidarity within our network is genuinely heartwarming.
