We are *this close* to launching NPAconnect to the full membership. We have about 90 early adopters already using the app and providing valuable pre-launch feedback. We are currently waiting for some fixes to be made that are preventing our team from having full access to the app. As soon as that is ready, we'll be ready to launch this month. We're also working on FAQs, community guidelines, and a few instructions. Here are the most important things you'll want to do when you gain access:
- Allow push notifications - you'll be prompted to do this the first time you log in. You may need to allow notifications both within the app AND directly in your phone's settings
- Logging in - use your NPA Central username and password; remember to pay attention to capital letters
- Forums - iOS users will see Forums on the bottom of the screen; Android users will look in the hamburger menu (it's the 2nd item in the list). Make a priority to join the forums that match up with your groups/interests so that you get notifications when new posts are added.
- NEW! A brand-new forum, Cheers & Chats, for casual conversations, birthday greetings, sports updates, and other fun topics that are not work-related. Users who want to see this content can join the forum; those who don't join won't see it. Off-topic posts in other forums will be relocated here.
- Profile - Profile data is synced to your NPA Central profile. Make sure your profile is current; changes you make in the app will sync back to NPA Central.
- Practice posting in one or more forums. NPAconnect offers a personalized news feed to users, so your feed will include posts from the forums you have joined.
