I want to share with you some bittersweet news about our current President and COO, Dave Nerz. Dave has shared with the Board and staff of NPAworldwide his plan to retire in June of 2024.

The Board and I are happy for Dave and his planned retirement and appreciate all that he has done for the network. Dave has worked diligently for the past 18 years to keep NPAworldwide successful and relevant for our global membership. Dave, with the strong and ever-present support of our wonderful staff, have held the best interests of our members in mind on a daily basis.

Dave helped the network navigate some truly difficult times beginning in his first year with the required move of NPAworldwide systems and the contentious debates around brokerage. His leadership help navigate the network through the GFC and a pandemic with minor dips in membership and profitability but stronger on the other side. He also helped us manage two network acquisitions, first NBN and then later IPA. While the Board is quick to credit Dave for many of these accomplishments, he is always and ever the practical one reminding us that the staff does the heavy lifting on all of these accomplishments.

In preparation for Dave's retirement, the Board of Directors has formed a search committee that has established specific criteria and a timeline for the meticulous selection of our next President. Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition and maintain continuity during this period. We aim to have the new President join us in time for our meeting in Salt Lake City in May 2024.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our deep appreciation for Dave's dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to NPAworldwide over the years. His legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire our cooperative as we move forward into a new chapter.

Please join us in congratulating Dave on his well-deserved retirement and in wishing him all the best in this new chapter of his life. We will be celebrating Dave's contributions at our upcoming events, and we look forward to an exciting future for NPAworldwide.

Thank you for your continued support of our cooperative, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or require further information.
