Someone asked me the other day how many NPA Meetings I have been to. Honestly, I’ve never counted, but I do know my first one was in 1992. What a whirlwind experience that was! I remember feeling so nervous, like a mouse in the corner. But it didn’t take long for me to realize the value of meeting people face-to-face. Many of the members I met back then are no longer part of NPA, but I still remember them well.
There’s something about putting a face to a name, it makes people so much more memorable. Zoom calls are great but don’t replace shaking someone's hand.
