I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year! As we step into 2024, I hope you all will embrace the almost 70-year-old history of NPAworldwide, along with the promise of the future.
I would like to do a Special Shout-Out to our Area Leaders.
A few years ago, we decided to reduce the number of Board Directors and move leadership closer to our membership, thus creating a layer of Area Leaders.The Area Leaders in turn report to a designated Board Director. The primary purpose of our Area Leaders is to be the first point of contact, engaging members, driving split fees, interacting with staff and growing their local membership.
I want to take a moment and congratulate our newest Area Leader for India, Ratnesh Jain of Blue Genes Research. Ratnesh has big shoes to fill as longtime leader Parvathy Krishnan steps down from this role. Ratnesh, thanks for joining the ranks of our volunteer leaders!
