The Essence of NPAworldwide: New Year Camaraderie

Close to 50 members and staff got a network performance update and joined in a couple of best practices breakout sessions. Our Chair-Elect Pam Robinson led us in a toast to celebrate NPAworldwide's history and past achievements along with the promise of the future. It was great to say hello to old friends and to also see new members. A special thanks to the members from around the world who were up early or stayed up late to join the video call. As I mentioned during the call, every time NPAworldwide members get together, be it on a video, a global meeting, regional meeting or for a cup of coffee, we carry on a tradition that is almost 70 years old. THAT IS SPECIAL and ALL OF YOU ARE SPECIAL.   

As we move into this exciting year at NPAworldwide, consider making a renewed effort to connect to your partners. If local, set up a coffee or lunch, go to regional meetings, global meetings or just pick up the phone. Be proactive-- reach out. The network, if used correctly, can be your competitive advantage in the marketplace. And the friend factor is priceless.
