New Technology – We are excited to share that we are moving forward with a major technology investment for NPAworldwide. The Technology Committee, Liz Carey, and I reviewed six different technology companies before selecting Upsilon IT to build a completely new replacement for the current NPAworldwide Marketplace.
The new platform will be built from the ground up specifically for NPAworldwide, with a focus on creating a robust, intuitive, and user-friendly experience for members around the world. An important consideration for the Technology Committee was ownership of the technology, and NPAworldwide will fully own the new platform and product.
Upsilon IT has proposed a three-month development timeline. If everything progresses as planned, we expect to begin the new year with our new technology fully operational. There is a lot of work ahead, but we are excited about what this investment will mean for our members and the future of the network.
President Search – The Leadership Search Committee has also been busy finalizing the search documents, reviewing prospects, and actively sourcing candidates for the President role. We expect to begin our initial round of interviews the week of August 24.
Our selection process will be thorough and will include several rounds of interviews, psychometric assessment, reference checking, and additional due diligence to help us evaluate each candidate from multiple perspectives.
While we are eager to have our new President in place, finding the right person is far more important than meeting an arbitrary timeline. We are committed to taking the time necessary to identify a leader who understands our unique member-owned organization, can work effectively with our Board and staff, and has the experience and leadership qualities needed to help guide NPAworldwide into the future.
